The first song I ever heard by the Icicle Works, like it no doubt was for many people, was "Whisper To A Scream," but, in addition, the very first CD I ever bought...and the only musical format of which I can definitively say that I remember the very first purchase with that format...was "If You Want To Defeat Your Enemy, Sing His Song."  I don't have any Ian McNabb solo work, but I've heard it compared to Neil Young...possibly only because he worked with Crazy Horse, but still...
