Let¹s not start sending paypal donations to FoW just yet.
Don¹t forget that Adam S. wrote ³That Thing You Do² for the movie of the
same name...the royalty checks must still be rolling in on that one!
My friend Dan and I drove ten hours each way to open for FoW at Maxwells in
New Jersey in the Summer of 2000. It was a packed house at something like
$20 a pop and they didn¹t pay us a rotten cent. They didn¹t even cover our
gas!
³Shrewd² businessmen I guess...
