I appreciate it. At this point, I am not that concerned about what the
quality is! I know about the reruns. Unfortunately, by the time I
discovered that
I had goofed up in Tivoing the show, it was already on to the next week's
show. (And my wife, who LOVES this show, was ticked off...)

Hey Mark,

Consider this a message of hope.
A good friend of mine is a huge Vikings football fan. Years ago an important
game was being played in terms of if the Vikings would make the play offs.
Thom asked his wife to tape the football game per he was going out of town
but he COULD NOT miss this game. Anyway, he returns home from his trip,
having avoided any sports news on the game and she had done as he asked. He
was thrilled and expressed his thanks. Plus, he turns the game on and it
turned out to be a thrilling game. Only, sometime during an exciting drive
in the 4th quarter, the tape went blank, turning to snow. It turned out his
wife consulted the TV Guide listings and she saw the game was on from 3:00
to 6:00. Thus, she programmed the VCR to start at 3pm and to stop recording
at 6 pm.
I'm sure she can still hear his scream when she falls asleep at night.

Anyway, they can almost laugh about it now..
