Really behind in my reading and posting. But here goes.

1. Green Day / Dickies? I'm not hearing it. I like the Dickies more,
though. ;) Green Day are totally power-pop-punk though - and amazing.
Although it was weird to see them on whatever big crappy music
station's New Years Eve bash they were on.

2. Smithereens are the best band EVER (heh) and of course Anthology
could be included in any list.

3. Jandek is AMAZING! Why have I never heard him before?!?

4. Just finished my top 10 of 2004. And a bunch of other years. Here
it is, in no order. I have some heavier tastes than many on this list
a lot of times, perhaps. ;)

Brian Wilson - Smile
The Hives - Tyrannosaurus Hives
Sonic Youth - Sonic Nurse
Atreyu - The Curse
Bad Religion - The Empire Strikes First
Franz Ferdinand - S/T
Green Day - American Idiot
Candy Butchers - Hang On Mike
Clutch - Blast Tyrant
Helmet - Size Matters

And thanks for all you guys' lists - I've heard so many new bands! :)

-J
