My top list is pretty short and tends to be toward the mainstream, but here
goes:

1 - Tears for Fears - Everybody Loves a happy Ending
This cd is excellent and Call Me Mellow would be in my top 10 of the last
10 years.

2 - Finn Brothers - Everyone is Here
    The Brothers still got it!

3 - Chris Issak - the new Christmas record
Just dig the reverb rock sound and you forget it's Christmas!

4 - Johnny Marr - Boomslang
Don't know if this was this year or not, but it was new to me. Very tasty.

5 - Duran Duran - Astronaut
Very good pop and a great guilty pleasure.

6 - Cheap Trick - Special One
Was this from this year? Any way, Robin's still an incredible vocalist,
Tom still cool, and Bun E rocks steadier than any one but Ringo!

Best Cover version:
Surrender by Velvet Revolver and i am the Walrus by Styx

Biggest Disappointment:
Planet US devolving into Soul Sircus

Top DVD's:
Freaks and Geeks and Live Aid

Top live act:
Go see Vince Gill now!

Cd I haven't gotten yet but want:
The latest from The Corrs, Borrowed Heaven-- any opinions on this one?
And what about the Del Amitri spin off project?

Till next year.....Gene
