Can't argue the handoff, but it was far from being a Toto bassist (neither
Hungate or Porcaro). Instead try Louis "Thumbs" Johnson of the Brothers
Johnson - no slouch in the bass department (as far as that goes neither are
the Toto guys). You'd have to ask Macca himself why he didn't do it
himself.
