Hope I am not to late for this.I generally don't
participate but I thought I would. It is kind of
difficult to do a top 10 of the year.I get many CDs
and they are new to me but I am not sure when they are
released. Anyhow here goes:
1. Ed James- Big Time I wish I were Ed James (if I
wasn't me), well wish I had his talent.
2. Grip Weeds- Giant On The Breach I didnt know they
sang backup on a Smithereens track.
3. Jeremy- Lost and Found Love his work
4. Franz Ferdinand
5. The Lolas- Something You Oughta Know If I cant be
Ed James then maybe Tim Boykin?
6. Guill and Jem- Two Sons Ok if I cant be Ed James
or Tim Boykin can I be Jeremy?
7. U2- How To Dismantle
8. Lisa Mychols- Sweet Sinsations Great vocal, and
music.
9. The Smithereens-Anthology I have loved there music
forever. Can I vote for an Anthology?
10. The Ringles-Take A Ride Ok maybe a cheap plug,
but I do like this one. I have been able to distant
myself enough from this to enjoy it.
11. Cliff Hillis- Compression Ok I if I cant be Ed
or Tim or Jeremy.....
12. Beatles Tribute-40 years ago
13. Goldoodlins- S/T Is this new?
14. Garfields Birhtday-Famous When Dead
15. John Lennon Acoustic
The order is a bit unfair for me. I love all the CDs I
get. Actually the only CD in my whole collection I
dont like is one by the Balancing Act.
I am waiting for the solo Dave Dietrich's CD to
come out. I know it will be a Top Ten this year.
