It's definitely a great record!  Benson says it's a blend between his two
other releases, and that seems pretty reasonable to me.  Although I don't
think The Alternative To Love is quite as good as Lapalco, given that
Lapalco
was my favorite album of 2002 that's a tough standard to meet.  Although
it's probably too early for me to make such a statement, it's a good bet
that The Alternative To Love will finish in my Top 10 of 2005.

I'm surprised EW picked "What I'm Looking For" to site; it's a good song,
but IMHO not one of the stronger ones.
