One of the brightest moments of the 2003 IPO festival in Baltimore was the appearence of De Novo Dahl.  I grabbed the six song  EP the band was selling and having been listening to it ever since.  The band has a new record due out shortly on Theory 8 records with some  in and around Nashville lined up to promote it.  Based on some mp3s briefly posted on the bands website the record should be fab.
