happy new year. i've zoned out for a few months. i
have a lot of posts and a lot of digests in my inbox.
i'm here because i need your help. i just got my very
own copy of honky chateau, and while i've been exposed
to this disc three years ago by our own kelly cronin,
i'm back.
and just like i was then, i'm just taken by the song
'mona lisas and mad hatters.' i just love it. there's
a sadness and a depth to it that i can't quite
explain. i have my own weird takes on what it might
mean, but i'm coming here.
what does this song mean to you? what is it about? are
there any 'official' explications of it?
hope everyone is doing well,
jocelyn
