someone on this list put Swan Dive's latest disc as their #1. i
dutifully sampled it and now i'm hooked! here's my review
of "William & Marlys":
Wow! If you're in the market for bittersweet songs of love and loss,
have I got a disc for you! Swan Dive's "William & Marlys" is well-
crafted 60's pop: well-conceived and well executed. Wonderfully
orchestrated, haunting... and, in places, achingly beautiful.
Picture The Sundays performing songs by The Pearlfishers with a twist
of Jill Sobule. That's Swan Dive!
Now if you'll excuse me, I'm off to purchase their previous
releases... ah, bliss!
