Speaking of the tsunami, I received this bit of awful news in an  e-mail from 
Darian Sahanaja (of Brian Wilson's band) today:
 
"...we've heard horrible news about one of our Swedish cello players. He  and 
his girlfriend were in Thailand at the time the tsunami hit and now he is  
missing. We're just devastated."
 
Very sad...
