OOoh I hate that. I was at Hastings today with a Xmas gift cert and couldn't remember which Stones reissues I have! I spent hours refiling my singles the other day in search of my Mavelettes 45 of Mr Postman so I could park my newly found copy of Paperboy next to it. Only when I got done did I realize it was Playboy I had not Mr Postman. Got that on the Anthology!!!
It's worse with all the bootleg tapes. I searched for something recently, and found it wasn't where it should have been, wasn't in the data base. Did it really exist, or did I imagine it. Drove me crazy.
If something gets mis filed, I may not find it for years. I thought I'd sold my Pink Faries albums, cause I hadn't seen them for ages. I was getting ready to by the reissues. Turns out they were all safe about 18" to the right of where they should have been.
I once couldn't find a guitar I was going to trade for some studio gear. The poor guy nearly had a heart attack while I dug through guitar cases. I think I got a better deal due to the added anticipation...

And the good lord knows, as time passes, more frequently I have found myself coming home with a great new disc that I spin with glee, then upon going to file it, discover it is -in fact- my second copy. A clear advantage of on-line shopping I suppose and a much lesser problem than too many others in this world are facing...
