Just experienced (again and again and again) a Dan Bern comp a friend made
for me, and wow, it's great! Haven't seen anything about him on this list -
maybe because much of his stuff is folksy, kind of like Dylan for people who
don't like Dylan (especially his voice). The lyrics are tremendous, and
Bern occasionally does the pop thang -- for instance, his tracks "Marilyn"
and "Jane" are rockin' pop of high caliber, and would be muchly enjoyed by
most on this list.
Any other Bernophiles on the list?
