Well, there you go: do you love that record because of
all the hype?
To me, *that* was overhyped crap. But many Auditeers
and some of my friends loved it. I didn't go around
impugning their critical faculties. It's just one of
those things I'm not going to "get"--like Brian
Wilson, Modest Mouse, or the Arcade Fire.
