I love Brian Wilson's work and am pleased by the Wondermints' input.
Who would've thought SMILE wouild ever be completed (as much as it can be ...mind you)?
I understand that propping Brian up with a keyboard in front of him enables him to feel more comfortable in front of an audience but I cannot get over how much he resembles a Tyrannosaurus Rex with his arms dangling in front of him as he performs..
His vocals are markedly improved over what they were around the "I Just Wasn't Made for These Times" documentary. A comparison of the periods involving that and the "Beautiful Dreamer" documentary are a testament to that.
It is understandable that he chose Good Vibrations for Leno. He played Heroes and Villains last time he was on.

I saw someone had the Language of Flowers-Songs About You cd on their best of list. That is one of my favorite releases this year. For fans of the defunct Sarah Records roster this disc is a welcomed friend.

I too am also enjoying the Cars tribute on Not Lame. There are some tasty tracks therein.
