Subject Top 20 of 2004 poll update

[Part 1 text/plain us-ascii (1.3 kilobytes)] (View Text in a separate window)

I have finally caught up on the tallying so far. With
less than two weeks to go (polls close on Jan. 17,
2005 at 11:59 p.m. CST), here's how the voting has
gone so far:

1. Brian Wilson (Smile, of course, not his other
album)
2. Eugene Edwards
3. Cliff Hillis
4. Green Day
5. Franz Ferdinand
6. Candy Butchers
7. Lolas
8. The Finn Brothers
9. David Grahame
10. The Rosenbergs
11. The Arcade Fire
12. Dogs Die In Hot Cars
    The Futureheads
    Jamie Hoover and Bill Lloyd
15. AC Newman
    Chris Stamey
17. Velvet Crush
18. Elliot Smith
19. The Jellybricks
20. John Hoskinson

As the ties indicate, the voting is tight, particular
in the bottom half of the 20 and there are plenty of
candidates close behind.

So, rank your records -- your entry doesn't have to be
20 -- a top 2 would suffice -- remember, compilations
are not eligible - this includes records that of
outtakes or previously released material (i.e.,
contributions to a tribute album or compliation)
aren't eligible -- and, if you don't want your vote to
be public, just e-mail me off-list at
mrhonorama@ameritech.net.

Thanks

Mike Bennett
