That made my day. :)

I actually heard "So Jealous" playing in a Newbury Comics, got hooked, and
immediately bought the cd -- long before I saw any press/reviews/publicity
about the record and before I knew anything about artists themselves,
beyond their names. I had no idea they were lesbians until someone else
informed me. And given that I'm not generally prone to hiding under rocks,
I find it hard to believe that I'm the only one who liked and bought this
record without prior knowledge of the sexual proclivities of the artists.

I stand by my point that the raves that Tegan & Sara are receiving for
their new release are, in the opinions of some (myself included), quite
well deserved. I'm not saying that being identical twin lesbian rockers
isn't a great marketing angle, but I don't think that explains away the
pants-creaming over this record. I think the record itself merits the
pants-creaming.

And I think I've used up my lifetime quota of uses of the hyphenated
phrase "pants-creaming," so I'll stop here.
