Not to defend Clear Channel, but as I read it the guy doing the buying
USED to own a company that was purchased by CC 4 years ago. A good
friend of mine worked for that company and is now a local VP for CC
(which is getting out of the club show business in our region). That
would make Elvis's new owner independent of CC...
