Two things:
1) As the article points out, she sold the estate to Robert
Sillerman's business the Sillerman Companies, NOT to SFX Entertainment
or Clear Channel, companies that Sillerman's not involved with in any
meaningful capacity. So, no, Clear Channel does not "own Elvis."
2) This changes...what, exactly? Elvis Presley Enterprises (which was
owned but not run by Priscilla and Lisa Marie) has been aggressively
marketing EP's image for over a quarter century now, including some
truly dreadful and tacky merchandise. What has changed is that a new
group of businessmen will picking over the corpse, something that's
been going on unabated since August 1977.
