1) LUZER - Reset
2) Brian Wilson - Smile
3) Adam Marsland - You Don't Know Me
4) Eugene Edwards - My Favorite Revolution
5) Bob Gentry - self-titled
6) Elvis Costello - The Delivery Man
7) Jill Sobule - Underdog Victorious
8) Lisa Mychols - Sweet Sinsations (If I could combine this with the In
This City EP, 7 and 8 would be reversed)
9) John Hoskinson - Miscellaneous Heathen
10) Matthew Sweet - Living Things
I ranked Reset over Smile for the simple fact that I actually enjoyed the
live performance of Smile more than I enjoyed the album itself. Now, when
(if) a live CD comes out, we'll see how that ranks for 2005.
Other albums that I have spent a lot of time with, but didn't make it to the
Top 10 are Ed James' Big Time, Take a Ride by the Ringles, Everybody's
Having Fun Tonight! by Eytan Mirsky, Peachtree Road by Elton John, Remember
by the Todd Hunter Band and Getting in Over My Head by Brian Wilson.
Although it doesn't qualify for the Top 10, the Ace Records Rick Nelson
release, Rick's Rarities 1964 - 1974, was probably the CD most often played
here at the house this summer.
