I'm not entirely sure this is true. I can't help but hearken back to the
Rhode Island fire, where no gun violence was involved, but the combination
of live rock, heavy metal, and death made for front page news all across the
US. The repercussions of that event have been felt by club goers all over
the country-- in tighter fire safety laws (which is a good thing.) I
daresay that you take Dimebag out of the equation and this is still front
page news-- more crowd-related heavy metal death. In fact, I'm damn near
certain of it. And I expect to pass through more metal detectors as a
result. Murder, its just a shot away...
