Better late than never! As a Chicago boy who's seen them at least 30
times over the years, they're easily one of my favorite bands ever.
Actually, I just bought my 15 month old daughter a Cheap Trick t-shirt
(band logo with "mommy's alright, daddy's alright, they just seem a
little weird" printed on it as well) as one of her Christmas presents.

If they come around your neck of the woods (and they will), make sure to
check them out. They still bring the goods live.

I'm sure i'm just learning what the rest of you already know - I
recently
picked up the first four Cheap Trick CDs, and I must say I am knocked
out!
I had no idea they were so damn cool! The first Cheap Trick disk is
very
edgy, with cool songs, great guitar work, killer rhythm, passionate
vocals
and performance - it rocks harder than most bands out nowadays. And In
Color is truly a powerpop classic - wall to wall fantastic tunes! I've
had
the Budokhan LP since I was a kid, and beyond that, I have one of their
greatest hits comps. With all the talk I've heard over the years about
how
spotty CT are, I was hesitant to get any of their proper albums. I
guess
I've been missing the boat all these years! I'm looking forward to
checking
out Heaven Tonight and Dream Police next...
