I have wondered for years, and just recently realized
I had never asked Audities, does anyone know the back
story on Big Star's song 'Jesus Christ'?  It seems
oddly out of place on an album like Third.  Has anyone
ever heard the story of what prompted a pretty
seriously messed-up Alex Chilton to write and record
an apparently heartfelt Christmas song?  With steel
drums?

Just curious.
