Oh, I wasn't criticizing the Pretenders griping (although I personally disagree with it.) Its just that Percy Sledge strikes me as about the most ludicrous inductee I could imagine. I mean, where would Rock be without Percy Sledge? Well... uh... oh, I know-- Michael Bolton would have had to find a different signature cover song to mangle. And The Big Chill soundtrack would have sold... well, probably just as much.
