I'm enjoy reading all the rally cries for the Kinks. Let's face it, not a
great year for the brothers Davies, what with Ray getting shot and Dave's
stroke. Any update on their conditions?

Considering he never bought into the songwriting team concept (John/Paul,
Mick/Keith, etc.), the composing legacy of Ray Davies is huge. That leaves
Pete Townshend as his only real solo competition. And as much as love I the
'oo, the Kinks have the larger catalogue. Gee, it 's Christmas season, much
be time for ANOTHER Who greatest hits package...

Ray Davies, the greatest individual songwriter from the Britain's golden
age? No contest!

Look a little on the Sunny Side....

Steve
