Find a copy of Ray Davies' uniquely original autobiography X-RAY (subtitled
'The Unauthorized Autobiography') to help you fill in the blanks on Kinks
history.
Not to continue the thread on gun violence against musicians but when Ray
was shot in New Orleans while chasing a mugger, one of the British tabloids
headlined the story "You Really Shot Me".
Let me state that The Grip Weeds' GIANT ON THE BEACH album is quietly
brilliant, featuring their usual hallmarks of strong playing and tight
songwriting. They're the type of band whose work doesn't scream "Notice me
dammit!" but they're always consistent.
Long live cheap prescription drugs from Canada.
