In his defense - Chubby made some good R&B-Soul records after the dance craze
wore off - but by then the USA was in love with the British Invasion and they
went nowhere. Those 45's go for a lot of money on the UK "Nothern Soul" scene.
I'm always interested in 60's artists who are well known for a overplayed
smash
but made some good-to-outstanding records that didnt hit.
