Thought I'd mention this, as it seems like something that would appeal
to auditeers. Former The Grip, Wildhearts, Honeycrack and
Sugarplumfairies singer/multi-instrumentalist Willie Dowling has
relaunched himself, along with his new band Jackdaw4. From the clips
I've heard so far, I'm hearing quite a few powerpop parallels. In
fact, it can only be described as powerpop, I think. I'd be surprised
if it didn't appeal to Owsley fans.

I think it's safe to say that the new stuff is far more Jellyfish than
Wildhearts - he was the temporary keyboard player in the WH, if
anyone's interested.
