The 60's girl group The Angels followed up "My Boyfriend's Back" with "The Guy
With The Black Eye" - a sound-alike which told what happened next, wasnt a big
hit. And on thier album theres a track called "Why Don't The Boy Leave Me
Alone" which could be a pre-sequal to the big hit.
And even though I have heard it a zillion times on oldies radio, I still like
the 4 Tops "It's The Same Old Song" - which is basically a rehash and
follow up
to "I Cant Help Myself" (and a better record).
