If you're in LA tonight (Tues 11/30), please join us at Book Soup on the
Sunset Strip to hear "Lost in the Grooves" anthology contributors Brooke
Alberts, Tosh Berman, Kim Cooper, Brian Doherty, David Cotner, Becky
Ebenkamp, Ron Garmon, Max Hechter, Edwin Letcher, Domenic Priore, Ken Rudman
and Gene Sculatti offer musical and spoken commentary on the offbeat sounds
they love.
We'll be celebrating Roy Harper, Mr. Fox, Sparks, the Beach Boys, Poco,
Hearts and Flowers, The New Blockaders, the Tijuana Brass, Spirit, the
world's worst ever fake Beatles album, adolescent inepta-punks Silver, a
top-secret folk rock item and perhaps Appaloosa, the Cowsills, Papa John
Phillips, Robin Gibb and Vulgar Boatman.
The reading (and book signing) is free, starts at 7pm, and is at 8818 Sunset
