I think there are some writers that LOVE to bring down bands that sell 125 
Million records. 
It is so uncool to like u2 now
 unless you are one of   1 million that will buy it world wide this week

Green Day is exactly where U2 were when it was really cool to be a u2 fan
I enjoy the new record,
it sounds just like the 4 piece band that has been together for more then 25 
years in their original form 
and there are some really great sounding u2 songs on the disc.
 
it's not their first record ... but it's close IMO
