I'm kinda thinking the same thing, although there are a lot of CDs on my
wish list that I haven't heard yet.

My favorite GD moment was a concert they played in Denver a few years
back, where Billie Joe announced that "we're not a punk band - we're a
melodic California pop band." A point I have made any number of times is
that a punk who talks about selling out is someone who doesn't
understand the whole point of punk.

You may have success in life, but then just think of it -
what kind of life was it? What good was it - you've
never done the thing you wanted to do in all your life.
I always tell my students, go where your body and
soul want to go. When you have the feeling, then stay
with it, and don't let anyone throw you off.
