I know absolutely nothing of Yo La Tengo, but they come up from time to time
on this list and my interest is piqued. Has anyone ever burned a CDR of
their best "melodic pop songs and mellow heart tuggers", culled from their
various albums? If so, would anyone want to burn me a copy? In return, I
can burn a CDR comp of some things said person might want to check out from
my collection... This might be a way for me to check them out to see if I
want to hunt down some of the YLT full lengths.

<<<<My Yo La Tengo list of favorites is a bit different, and based on how
much I listen to each disc:
1. I Can Hear the Heart Beating as One
2. Fakebook
3. Danelectro ep (all-instrumental, with some remixes)
4. And then Nothing Turned Itself Inside Out
As for the rest of their records, there's always a few killer melodic pop
songs on each, some noise freak-outs, some mellow heart-tuggers.>>>>
