My wife and I drove down from Detroit for the show. She's a casual fan. I'm
a fanatic who had the old Raspberries 45s.
I echo the earlier comments. The show was great. My ears run afterward but
the volume during the show was not too loud at all. And I stood stage right in
front of a stack of amps by the staircase(hard to see Eric when he took to
the Roland, but otherwise a great view).
Outstanding set selection. Outstanding mix. Warm feelings onstage, at least
that I could see.
And definitely professional "videographers" circulating through the crowd
and videotaping proceedings.
By the way, for those planning to attend future shows at the HOB Cleveland,
dinner in their attached restaurant nets you an opportunity to "pass the
line." Probably be a different deal for the New Years Show but, you never know....
I'm looking forward to an inevitable DVD/CD, though I will look hard to scam
a bootleg.
