Beatles Capitol Albums: Someone mentioned the (awful looking) packaging
was not important. Well it SHOULD be, especially when they are flogging
music which most of the purchasers will already own, at least once. It's
one thing milking a product for all it's worth, but another thing entirely
treating your customers like crap.
Bronco Bullfrog: Have to agree with Brian, Oak Apple Day is an absolute
belter, there's one song on it reminds me of The Monkees at their best.
Loads of hooks, great tunes.
My Current Fave Band: The Sonics - I just can't stop listening to
"Psycho-Sonic", a comp. of their 2 albums on the Etiquette label. Totally
BRUTAL garage rock and roll, played like their lives depended on it. Also
good is an Etiquette label comp. called "Required Etiquette" which has
Sonics, Wailers, Bootmen, Galaxies, Rockin' Robin Roberts, Paul Bearer and
the Hearsemen + others.
