Hi folks,
I just wanted to let you know that I've just released my fourth album,
"Everyone's Having Fun Tonight!" It's got 16 tracks, including the title
songs from the films "American Splendor" and "Happiness" (which was
previously recorded by Michael Stipe). There's a lot of other fun/funny
stuff with titles like "She's Looking Better," "Why Does It Have to Be That
Way?" and "What's Wrong With You?", and some great playing by guitarists
Larry Saltzman (Simon and Garfunkel reunion band, David Johanson and the
Harry Smiths) and Jon Gordon (Suzanne Vega's "Luka," 70's group Tycoon -
ha!). There's also some colorful cartoon cover artwork.
I know a bunch of you have bought my other cd's. Some others of you might
have heard my music in films like "The Tao of Steve," without even knowing
it. Or you may have heard me on the recent Beatles tribute from Bullseye. If
you've never heard me at all, people say that my music is kind of a cross
between Nick Lowe and Jonathan Richman if it were sung by Evan Dando or Any
Trouble.
I should probably should have waited a few days to post this, but I mailed
out some discs out to Not Lame and Jam today so check those sites soon. Or
amazon.com and cdbaby.com. Or feel free to contact me directly at
eytanmirsky@hotmail.com.
