I don't think it's just hype and I think they are quite talented.
That said, I admit when listening to them, I find myself
feeling "FF" is like "Gang of Four-lite" and leaves me craving the
more musically caloric Gang of Four. This is just my honest gut
reaction when I listen, and I don't mean to this as a big knock
on "FF". And if your going to have influences, I guess they could
have done a heck of a lot worse.
Also, I have not yet seen them live, other then on the television,
where they were smoking.
