I'm not sure of my complete list yet, but I would be hard pressed to find two discs I enjoy more this year than Eugene Edwards' "My Favorite Revolution" and David Grahame's "Eric".

I have already told the list about how much I love Eugene's record as well as his live show. But I only received "Eric" in the mail within the last week and it has only come out of my home CD player in order to go into my car player, my portable player, or my work player - you get the idea. It is that good.

The list has often mentioned Grahame's McCartneyisms in a positive light, and I concur. Many of the songs on "Eric" have a White Album/Ram McCartney feel (to these ears), but not a direct imitation. I also hear touches of Badfinger which is natural.

My favorite tracks thus far are "The Loneliest Boy", "Mary Always Knows", and "Where Does It End". They're getting a lot of repeat hits.

Thank you to whoever on the list provided David's e-mail address.

Michael
