Eric, the latest from David Grahame, is very nice indeed. Almost a demo
quality to it but what fine demos. The only problem I found with the disc is
that it doesn't play on my work computer. Had to wait till I got to the car
for the full benefit. David's web site link is still up but not the site
itself.
On another front.has any gotten an advance copy of the 'new' Beatle box? The
holidays must be approaching but I'm always willing to contribute.
Speaking of the holidays.has anyone heard any good new holiday CDs released
this year?
Anyone else think it's pretty brash of Bon Jovi to honor the old Elvis LP
with their new box set.'50-million Bon Jovi fans can't be wrong.'
The Dotted Line is a new favorite.
Anyone looking for some great quirky early 70s British pop should pick up
one of the new releases from Andy Fairweather-Low. In a very freakish turn
of events, they are both titled 'Wide-Eyed and Legless.' There is a two-disc
set from Repertoire (complete copies of his first three A&M releases) and a
single side, career-spanning side from the Aussie label Raven. Both are
worth having.
How many times can Elton John and The Who release their catalogs? And how
many times will I buy them? But if anyone has heard the new SACD versions of
some of Elton's discs, can you pass along any recommendations?
Gotta go.the Road to Utopia is on and it doesn't have anything to do with
