Okay, so what are your favorite releases this year so far? Even though I
buy a lot of CDs every month, I typically pick up stuff from the 5 or so
years before the current year, as well a lot of 60s and 70s (and some 80s
and 90s) releases. For instance, I bought about 150-200 CDs in the last 6
months, but less than 10 of them are from 2004. I usually wait until the
Audities "best of the year" list to get ideas for what to purchase from the
current year.
But this year, I'd like to get a jump on some of the newer stuff, and not
wait until Jan 2005. Any suggestions?
(So far from 2004 I am digging SMiLE, and the latest from Green Day, Adam
Marsland, Michael Carpenter and Cloud Eleven, and the Bullseye Beatles
Tribute.)
