Spiraling have been around for about a decade now -- they only
recently shortened their name from You Were Spiraling. I've seen them
live a couple of times, and while there are individual elements of
their sound that I really like, they have yet to write any really
great songs. They used to do a great cover of "Take On Me" to close
their sets, though.
Their debut album is incredibly irritating because for some reason (I
think it *must* have been an accident), it was mastered and pressed at
an absurdly low volume. You have to turn up the volume knob
practically all the way to be able to hear it properly, and god help
you if you forget to turn it back down when you're done!
