Sour grapes and all that.
There's a lot of music discussed on this list and it's
fair to say while the bulk of discussion seems to
focus on pure pop music, there's a lot of other
musical interests that don't fall under the "Power
Pop" umbrella that are being discussed as well.
A lot of open minds on this list.
I myself enjoy a lot of power pop but I don't like it
all, which makes me glad there's a diverse world of
other music styles out there for me to get into.
Like Sly Stone, for one.

I don't want to waste digest space and recopy the
extensive list you put together on everyone's "Power
Pop Hero" Sly Stone. To think that Phil Spector was
considered a talented producer? Let's just change the
name from the Audities Digest to the Sly Fan Club.
That way you can discuss.....all Sly all the Time!
Obviously he's been a BIG INFLUENCE on most everyone's
musical tastes on this digest board.....but mine!
