I TOTALLY disagree.  Maybe lots and lots of people can write a song... and
maybe a good percentage of all the songwriters in the world may have one or
two good songs in them.  But lots and lots of people can sing.

Of all the multitudes of songwriters, only a select number are really good
consistent songwriters -- and of all the multitudes of singers, only a
select number are really good singers.  In my opinion, excellent songwriters
are harder to come by than excellent singers.
