Anytime "Old Days" or "Saturday In The Park" shows up on the radio, I turn it
up. Songs like these just create good feelings and bring back good memories.

Same here, Greg. I love Chicago--up until Chicago VIII (and parts of X,
especially "Once or Twice"), that is. I don't care for the current
incarnation, vocal-wise--the singing sounds too harsh to me, and I still miss
Peter Cetera's voice. And what a powerhouse, monster bass player he was. All
over the fretboard, he was! I saw the band a couple of times in the eighties
and they were always superb.

While waiting out the day leading up to seeing Simon and Garfunkel in Central
Park back in the 80s, we were listening to WNEW-FM and they were occasionally
referencing the huge crowd on hand. At one point, they played "Saturday in the
Park" and the packed lawn, most of whom were listening to the station, it
seemed, erupted in applause. A very cool moment.
