Starring Eve Arden,Kaye Ballard,Roger Carmel,Herbert Rudley,Jerry Fogel, Deborah Walley.and directed by none other than Desi Arnaz.
The premise for this episode is that Fogel decides to manage a band and hits up both sets of folks for an investment in the Seeds......some seed money ,if you will, for his fledgeling management company. A studio is booked and paid for. After some groovy jargon generation gap themed exchanges ( Sky: "man! that blew my mind! " .Eve:.."oh .dear. I 'm sorry") the Seeds lip sync Pushing Too Hard for the new investors who decide to reshape the band (change the name to the Hep-cats or the Rugcutters ,cut their hair and perform tin pan alley standards). The band does not show up after studio time is ticking and the folks decide to enlist a salvation army band to accompany them as they perform Some Enchanted Evening.
The scene cuts to the band agreeing to re-sign to Fogel when the Salvation Army band shows up with the folks in full major domo regalia. They perform Some Enchanted Evening again and the Seeds ask if they can play along with their "freaky sound". They do and everyone lives happily ever after.
