60 Minutes To Air Behind-The-Scenes SNL Footage

CBSNews.com has posted a video clip of Ashlee Simpson behind-the-scenes during her recent Saturday Night Live performance gone bad. The tape, courtesy of 60 Minutes, does validate Simpson's story of vocal problems due to Acid Reflux Disease. The clip shows Leslie Stahl speaking with Executive producer Lorne Michaels as Simpson leaves the stage in tears after a dress rehearsal of "Pieces Of Me." Michaels said there were concerns during show rehearsals and that Ashlee was trying to preserve her voice until the show aired live. The video also shows the incident in which the wrong song started playing and her subsequent exit form the stage, leaving many behind the scenes in shock. 60 Minutes was at the show last Saturday night because Stahl had been shooting footage and interviews all week for a report on how the show is put together. The report airs this Sunday (10/31) on 60 Minutes.
