The Connells!!! Ever since I saw the video for "stone cold yesterday" on this
weird guys Tampa video show (I think it was on an uhf station, I remember he
asked Paul McCartney some interesting questions, anyone remember this guy?) I
have been into them.
When I moved from Jersey to San Francisco, it seemed NO ONE in SF had ever
heard of The Connells. I figured it was just an east coast thing. Then the new
bass player in my band (www.thebobbleheads.com) started talking about them! And
now this funny post about Supertramp wrecking a perfectly good Connells show.
I'd be pissed too if Supertramp showed up and did that.
