Of course.. but did it make a difference? Hah. Besides, I think EVERY
song EVER has been "co-written" in one way or another. Feedback,
input, etc.

No comment. Ok, ok, he may be a mediocre-at-best songwriter (14 year
old girl market?), but too bad HE aint great at singing them either.
And this is coming from a guy (me) who I know, isn't a great singer.
At all. REALLY not a great singer. But I'm not pompous about this or
that, either. (see Butch's website - I believe his words were, "No, I
won't produce your crappy/shitty band" - something along those lines.)
A real winner!

It's my belief that a good song can overcome mediocre singing. And
his, in my opinion, don't. Sex appeal alone doesn't justify record
sales, to me, although I know it does to much of music fans.

And MIXTAPE? Oh man. Way to make something cool not so cool. Heh.
Sorry, Butch fans. (**...I'm now expecting personal attacks, threats
to family**)

Well the real writer should put the song out instead of selling it,
then. All parties know what's in it and what's going to happen. Or,
they should.

And I assume you mean Elvis Presley - I thought everyone knew he
barely sang OR wrote ANY of his own songs - seriously, try finding
one. Hard pressed. All old black R&B songs. Not to say they ain't
good. Love Elvis.

And sorry for the ranting.
