If they don't then they deserve their fate. Yeah, maybe they'll never reach
SNL, but if they're not striving to get their then they're not trying hard
enough. Don't know the band, the politics or the members personal feeling
about the big, greedy, corporate machine, but you'd have to be out of your
mind to spend amount of your life doing this just for the hell of it. I'm
thinking these guys DO have aspirations and the consensus that they should
be doing a hoe-down on SNL probably isn't far off the mark.

Hmmm....seemed to work when the majors were ONLY interested in Corporate
Rock and Hair Metal in the late '80s....and then Sub-Pop released NIRVANA.
Then everyone wanted a piece.
I wish to god Bruce Brodeen had a budget big enough to kick start this
movement....cause that's all it takes folks. Enough money funnelled into
markets where the audiences exist. We can only hope that Ashlee Simpson is
the last of the Belly Button Divas (we got rid of the Boy Bands so there's
hope still) and that the majors wake up and smell the coffin. Then they'll
be knocking on the doors of Bruce and Jam and the bands they've nurtured.
